  1. I think most people (who buy a drone for <300$) just get them to fly around like maniac or take some aerial pictures/ videos.
What many miss: Drones can be so damn useful!
My father noticed that we had a leak in the roof. He wanted to climb onto it (about 40 ft. high) to check, whether he could find the damage.I just took my cheap udi drone and found the cracked tile within 5 minutes. We had to climb anyway, but we did not have to wander around on the roof.

Or take weddings… You spend some hundred Dollars for the wedding photographer. Invest some money in a drone and you can get some extra (special) videos and pics.

  2. Dear Sirs, There may be two applications of flying drones which we overlooked. That is, police car chases in major cities keep causing loss of life and property damage. So, why not set up a flying drone system in these cities for the purpose of simply following the stolen cars, a relay set up of multiple drones could work here, until the driver runs out of gas? No loss of life, and the police could phone the cops in the next district where he flees to arrest him at that minute. Also, what if small flying drones could stop school mass shootings? Upon an alert of a shooter, the cops could remote control small flying drones, that can see the shooter, and fly at him and detonate flash grenades in his face, until he is neutralized. Brutal yes, but it’s a brutal situation from the start. That covers it.
