Right now, with the FAA regulation talks going on, a lot of people are uncertain about the future of drones, but there are good reasons to think that there is going to be a lot going on that will change the world. In the future, drones are going to be used for a lot of different things, even replacing a lot of human jobs.
Right now, drones are being tested for a lot of different things, although primarily they are used in warfare. In the future, they are going to be used so extensively that very few American lives will be put at risk, since they will be capable of handling a large variety of Air Force tasks as well as search and rescue for other branches as well.
The commercial drone market is also going to be exploding. With drones capable of delivering products and materials, surveying land for commercial spaces, and even playing a large part in entertainment productions. Commercial uses are where the most controversy is, but that doesn’t mean companies won’t find a way.
There is still a lot of conversations that need to happen around drones. The FAA is skeptical of the future of drones, but it is hard to imagine a world where convenience would not be a larger part of the equation.
